Man Utd recalls another two players from loan

Manchester United have recalled two more players from their loan spells as the January transfer window continues. The club confirmed the decision in a statement released on Monday, saying the move is part of ongoing squad and development plans.

Young forward Ethan Wheatley has returned from his loan spell at Northampton Town. The 19-year-old had earlier spent time on loan at Walsall and is now the fourth academy player recalled to Carrington this month as United reshapes its youth plans.

In the women’s team, midfielder Emma Watson has also been brought back from her season-long loan with Crystal Palace Women. Watson joined Palace in August and featured six times for the team, which is currently sixth in the Women’s Super League 2 table.

These recalls come shortly after Sonny Aljofree and Louis Jackson were also brought back from their respective loan spells. The club is expected to continue reviewing loan arrangements as the transfer window remains open.
