Tinubu, Speaker Tajudeen, Amosun, others hail Ogun Deputy Governor at 60

President Bola Tinubu, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and former Ogun State governor Ibikunle Amosun have joined other political leaders to celebrate the Ogun State Deputy Governor as he marks his 60th birthday. The messages poured in from across the country, praising his years of service and contribution to governance.

In their goodwill messages, the leaders described the deputy governor as a loyal public servant, a stabilising force in Ogun politics and a bridge-builder within government. They commended his calm leadership style, experience and commitment to the development of the state, noting that he has played a key role in supporting policies that impact ordinary citizens.

Former governor Amosun praised the celebrant for his consistency and dedication to public duty, while Speaker Tajudeen highlighted his role in strengthening democratic institutions at the state level. President Tinubu, in his message, acknowledged the deputy governor’s contributions to national unity and governance, wishing him good health and more years of service.

Supporters, colleagues and community leaders also used the occasion to reflect on his political journey and personal character, describing him as humble, accessible and focused on service. The celebration, they said, was not only about age but about honouring a life of commitment to leadership and public responsibility.
