The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has started an electronic registration exercise for its members. The new system is designed to replace the old manual method and make party registration faster, easier and more transparent for people across the state.
Party officials explained that the digital process will allow members to register, update their details and verify their membership through an online platform. This is expected to reduce errors, prevent duplication of names and make it easier for the party to maintain an accurate and reliable database.
The APC leadership in Lagos said the move is part of broader efforts to modernise party operations and prepare for future political activities, including primaries and elections. They also encouraged party supporters, especially youths and first-time members, to take advantage of the electronic system.
According to the party, the e-registration will improve internal organisation, strengthen grassroots participation and build trust in the membership process. The APC urged all members to cooperate fully so the exercise can be completed smoothly and successfully across all local government areas.
