Sunderland manager Régis Le Bris has shared his thoughts on what separates Manchester City from Arsenal in the English Premier League title race. According to him, both teams are very strong, well-coached and full of talented players, but one small factor makes a big difference when the pressure is highest.
Le Bris said Manchester City’s experience in winning trophies gives them an advantage, especially during difficult moments in the season. He explained that City players remain calm when games are tight, while Arsenal sometimes struggle to maintain the same level of control when the title is on the line.
He also pointed out that City’s squad depth allows them to rotate players without losing quality. This means injuries or fatigue affect them less than other teams. Arsenal, on the other hand, rely heavily on a smaller group of key players, which can be risky during a long and demanding season.
Le Bris concluded that Arsenal are improving every year and are very close to City’s level, but consistency and experience are still the main difference. He believes that with more time and success, Arsenal will eventually match City’s dominance in the league.
