PDP: Defecting governors will regret – Party spokesman, Ememobong

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has warned governors who are leaving the party that they will regret their decision. Party spokesman Ememobong Emem stated that such moves are short-sighted and will have political consequences for the defectors.

Ememobong emphasized that the PDP remains a strong and united platform, capable of maintaining its influence across the country despite defections. He added that loyalty to the party ensures political stability and progress for both leaders and constituents.

The spokesman also criticized recent defections, saying they were motivated by personal ambition rather than genuine service to the people. According to him, governors who abandon the party risk losing credibility and public trust.

PDP reaffirmed its commitment to engaging members, strengthening grassroots support, and preparing for upcoming elections. Ememobong concluded that those who leave now may later realize that the party’s structure and principles outweigh individual interests.
