Rivers State Minister, Nyesom Wike, has alleged that Governor Siminalayi Fubara has violated an agreement that was brokered by President Bola Tinubu. Wike claimed the governor failed to honor commitments made during discussions facilitated by the President.
Speaking with his supporters, Wike said the breach of the agreement undermines trust and threatens political harmony in the state. He emphasised that such actions could affect the way political processes are conducted in Rivers.
He urged party members and political stakeholders to be cautious and remain committed to transparency and fairness. According to Wike, adherence to agreements is key to maintaining stability and unity within the political landscape.
Wike also warned that ignoring agreed-upon terms could create unnecessary tensions and complicate governance in Rivers State. He appealed to leaders and the public to insist on accountability and respect for political agreements.
