The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State has said that Governor Caleb Mutfwang remains the leader of the party in the state. The state party secretary, Choji Choji, made this clear while reacting to reports suggesting that the party leadership in Plateau has changed.
Choji said there has been no decision or announcement by the party to remove or replace Mutfwang as leader. He explained that the governor remains the most senior elected PDP official in the state and naturally holds the position of party leader.
He added that the PDP in Plateau is united and focused on governance and development rather than internal disputes. According to him, those spreading rumours about leadership changes are only trying to create confusion within the party.
Choji urged party members and the public to ignore false reports and rely only on official statements from the party. He assured supporters that the PDP remains stable and committed to serving the people of Plateau State.
