Trump’s airstrikes: Nnamdi Kanu not safe in North, should be relocated – Ejimakor

Senator Ben Ejimakor has raised concerns over the safety of Nnamdi Kanu in Northern Nigeria following recent US military airstrikes in the country. According to Ejimakor, keeping Kanu in the North could expose him to serious security risks, given the heightened military operations in the region.

The lawmaker suggested that Kanu should be relocated to a safer area to prevent potential threats to his life. Ejimakor emphasized the need for government authorities to take proactive measures to ensure the security of high-profile individuals, particularly amid ongoing anti-terror operations.

Ejimakor also warned that failure to act could escalate risks, not just to Kanu, but also to others in the region who might be inadvertently affected by airstrikes or military actions. He urged the relevant security agencies to prioritize intelligence and protective measures.

Concluding, Ejimakor called on both national and international authorities to work together to safeguard citizens’ lives while maintaining the fight against terrorism. He stressed that safety should not be compromised in the pursuit of military objectives.
