Taraba: Nyame commends Kefas for sustaining legacy projects

Former Governor of Taraba State, Rev. Jolly Nyame, has commended Governor Agbu Kefas for sustaining important projects started by previous administrations. Nyame said the move shows respect for continuity in governance and concern for the long-term development of the state.

According to Nyame, abandoning projects wastes public resources and slows down progress. He noted that Governor Kefas’ decision to complete inherited projects will help improve infrastructure, boost the economy and improve the standard of living of residents across Taraba State.

Nyame added that continuity in governance helps to build trust between the government and the people. He said when leaders honour existing commitments, citizens feel more confident in the system and are more willing to support government policies and programmes.

He encouraged Governor Kefas to remain focused on people-oriented projects and avoid distractions. Nyame also urged other leaders to see governance as a collective responsibility aimed at serving the people and not personal or political interests.
