The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has said it understands the difficult situation many Nigerians are facing as Christmas approaches. The party noted that high cost of living and economic pressure have made this festive season harder than usual for many families across the country.
In its Christmas message, the ADC called on Nigerians to remain hopeful and united despite the challenges. The party said that moments like this require patience, understanding and support for one another, especially among neighbours, families and communities.
The ADC also appealed to leaders at all levels to act with compassion and responsibility. It urged government officials to focus on policies that can reduce hardship, protect the vulnerable and improve the welfare of ordinary citizens during this period and beyond.
The party ended its message by wishing Nigerians a peaceful Christmas and a better new year, expressing confidence that with unity and resilience, the country can overcome its economic challenges and move towards a brighter future.
