Congress: Vote out non-performing party leaders –  Adighije charges Abia APC members

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adighije, has called on party members in Abia State to use the upcoming party congress to remove leaders who have failed to deliver results. He said the congress provides an opportunity for members to reshape the party and build stronger leadership at the grassroots.

Adighije explained that keeping non-performing leaders in office weakens the party’s structure and reduces public trust. According to him, only committed and active party officials can help the APC grow and compete effectively in future elections.

He urged members to put the interest of the party above personal loyalty and vote based on performance, credibility and dedication. He stressed that the future of the APC in Abia depends on the quality of leaders chosen during the congress.

Adighije also appealed for a peaceful and transparent congress process, advising members to avoid violence and manipulation. He said a fair process would strengthen unity within the party and position it better for future political contests in the state.
