The Ogun State Government has urged residents to observe safety and cleanliness while celebrating the Yuletide season. Officials emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy environment to prevent accidents, diseases, and other hazards during festive activities.

Authorities highlighted that public spaces, streets, and homes should be free of litter, and residents are encouraged to dispose of waste responsibly. Emphasis was also placed on observing fire safety and road safety rules during celebrations.

The government further advised parents and guardians to ensure that children celebrate in safe spaces, away from dangerous activities like fireworks and reckless behavior. Medical facilities and emergency services are on standby to assist in case of incidents.

Finally, Ogun officials called on the community to cooperate with sanitation and security agencies. They stressed that a clean, safe, and healthy environment not only protects lives but also enhances the festive spirit for everyone in the state.
