‘He’s willing to help us’ – Mutfwang urges Middle Belt to back Tinubu

Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State has encouraged people from the Middle Belt to continue supporting President Bola Tinubu and his administration. He described the president as a leader willing to help the region, highlighting his motivation for joining the APC.

Speaking at a dinner for Middle Belt Ethnic Nationalities in Jos, Mutfwang expressed confidence that the Middle Belt would soon witness tangible support from the Tinubu-led government. He said, “We will see evidence of what I have said in the days to come.”

The governor also called for unity among Middle Belt communities, stressing the importance of gathering traditional, religious, and intellectual leaders under one platform. He envisioned a future where the region speaks with one voice while remaining a vital part of northern Nigeria.

Mutfwang concluded by emphasizing that unity should transcend faith and language, encouraging people to recognize shared bonds. He prayed that the Middle Belt would grow stronger together and that the glue binding them would continue to hold the community tightly.
