The National Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has issued a strong warning to party members who recently defected to other political parties. He said those who left the NNPP should not expect an easy political journey, stressing that decisions made out of impatience often come with consequences.
Speaking on the wave of defections rocking the party, the NNPP leader described the move as unfortunate but insisted the party remains focused on its ideology and future goals. According to him, political consistency and loyalty are key ingredients for long-term success, adding that abandoning a party at the slightest challenge rarely leads to stability.
The chairman maintained that NNPP is undergoing internal reforms and strengthening its structures across states. He said the party is committed to building a credible alternative for Nigerians and will not be distracted by individuals who chose to leave instead of contributing to its growth.
He further assured party supporters that NNPP remains united and determined ahead of future elections. The chairman urged members to stay committed, saying the party’s vision goes beyond personal ambition and is aimed at providing responsible leadership for the country.
