The All Progressives Congress (APC) has successfully trained 1,300 ward agents in Enugu State to facilitate electronic voter registration ahead of the 2027 elections. The training aims to ensure smooth, transparent, and efficient registration processes across all wards in the state.

According to party officials, the ward agents were equipped with skills to assist citizens in e-registration, verify voter details, and provide guidance during the registration period. The initiative is part of APC’s strategy to enhance voter participation and strengthen electoral processes.

The training emphasized the use of technology in voter registration, proper documentation, and ethical conduct. Participants were also briefed on handling challenges at registration centers and ensuring that every eligible voter is accurately captured in the system.

APC leaders in Enugu called on citizens to cooperate with the ward agents during e-registration and encouraged all eligible voters to participate. The party reiterated its commitment to credible electoral processes and boosting democratic participation ahead of the 2027 polls.
