‘I’m sorry Nigerians, I will never do that again’ – Peller apologises

Popular TikTok content creator, Peller, has publicly apologised to Nigerians following his recent arrest by the Lagos State Police Command. The influencer, who was detained over allegations of dangerous driving and misconduct, released a video online where he expressed deep regret and pleaded for forgiveness from the public. He assured Nigerians that such behaviour would not be repeated.

In the emotional message, Peller admitted that his actions were wrong and said he was currently receiving treatment. He explained that once he completes his medication, he plans to return online with a better mindset. His apology came amid growing criticism from the public over the incident, which many described as reckless and irresponsible.

Reports indicate that the situation was linked to personal challenges following the end of his relationship with his girlfriend, Jarvis. Jarvis had earlier confirmed their breakup, citing emotional instability as one of the main reasons for her decision. The incident reportedly escalated when Peller engaged in unsafe behaviour while livestreaming on social media.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Command confirmed that the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation. The Commissioner of Police warned influencers and online personalities against promoting dangerous acts for content, stressing that such actions pose risks to public safety and will not be tolerated.
