Traditional rulers in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have openly declared their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, commending his administration for what they described as visible development efforts in the nation’s capital. The monarchs said recent policies and actions by the federal government show a clear commitment to improving governance and infrastructure in Abuja.

The royal fathers also praised the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, for pushing forward major projects across the territory. According to them, ongoing road construction, urban renewal, and improved public facilities are already making a positive impact on residents. They noted that some long-abandoned projects have been revived under Wike’s leadership.

Speaking during an engagement with government officials, the traditional rulers said the pace of development under the current administration is encouraging. They stressed that infrastructure growth is key to economic activities, security, and overall wellbeing of communities within the FCT, adding that the renewed focus on completion of projects deserves public support.

The monarchs assured President Tinubu and the FCT minister of their continued cooperation, especially in maintaining peace and promoting grassroots development. They urged residents to protect public facilities and support government initiatives aimed at transforming Abuja into a modern and inclusive capital city.
