Tinubu’s empowerment programmes not for APC youth alone – Minister

A federal minister has said that the empowerment programmes introduced under President Bola Tinubu’s administration are not meant for members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) alone. The minister explained that the initiatives are designed to support young Nigerians across all political, ethnic, and religious backgrounds.

Speaking on the goals of the programmes, the minister noted that skills training, grants, and job creation schemes are open to every eligible youth who meets the requirements. He stressed that the government is focused on reducing unemployment and poverty, not promoting party loyalty.

The minister also urged young people to ignore misinformation suggesting that only APC supporters can benefit. According to him, clear guidelines have been put in place to ensure fairness, transparency, and equal access in the selection of beneficiaries nationwide.

He added that the Tinubu administration remains committed to inclusive development and youth empowerment as key pillars of national growth. The minister encouraged youths to take advantage of the opportunities and contribute positively to the country’s economic progress.
