Insecurity: We’re committed to welfare of Nigerian Army – Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has restated his administration’s commitment to improving the welfare and working conditions of the Nigerian Army as part of efforts to tackle the country’s security challenges. He said the government understands the sacrifices made by soldiers and remains determined to support them.

The president noted that better welfare, equipment, and training are key to boosting morale among troops fighting insecurity across different parts of Nigeria. According to him, the safety of citizens depends largely on how well the armed forces are supported and motivated.

Tinubu also assured military personnel that his government will continue to invest in modern tools and strategies to strengthen national defence. He added that addressing insecurity requires not only military action but also cooperation with communities and other security agencies.

He called on Nigerians to appreciate the efforts of the armed forces and support initiatives aimed at restoring peace. The president stressed that improving the welfare of soldiers is a crucial step toward achieving lasting security and stability in the country.
