The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State has declared that the party is fully prepared to challenge and defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections. He said the PDP has learned valuable lessons from past elections and is now more focused on rebuilding its strength across the state.
According to him, the party has begun grassroots mobilisation, reconciliation among members, and strategic planning aimed at winning back the trust of voters. He stressed that the PDP is committed to presenting credible candidates who understand the needs of the people of Ogun State.
The PDP chairman also criticised the current APC-led government, claiming that many residents are dissatisfied with its performance. He said issues such as unemployment, poor infrastructure, and rising cost of living have made citizens eager for a change in leadership.
He assured party supporters that the PDP will remain united and disciplined ahead of 2027. The chairman called on members to stay loyal and work together, expressing confidence that the party can return to power if it stays focused and connected to the people.
