The All Progressives Congress (APC) has explained why politicians from different parties are defecting to its platform. According to the party’s spokesman, Felix Morka, many Nigerians are choosing the APC because they believe it offers better direction and stronger leadership. He said the ruling party has shown commitment to national development, which is attracting new supporters across the country.

Morka noted that several opposition parties are struggling with internal crises, making their members lose confidence in their leaders. He explained that politicians prefer a party that is united and focused, and the APC has positioned itself as a stable alternative. This, he said, is why more people are crossing over, especially ahead of upcoming elections.

He also added that President Bola Tinubu’s policies have encouraged many citizens and politicians to trust the ruling party. According to him, people see the APC as a party that is ready to make tough decisions to move Nigeria forward. Morka stated that this growing confidence is one of the major forces behind the rising number of defections.

The party spokesman urged new members to work with the APC to strengthen democracy and support national development. He assured defectors that they would be given a place in the party and encouraged to contribute to its growth. He further stressed that the APC welcomes everyone willing to help build a better Nigeria.
