The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is not divided into factions, according to party spokesperson Ememobong. He described claims of internal splits as the actions of a few disgruntled members trying to create confusion.
Ememobong emphasized that the PDP remains united in its policies, vision, and leadership. He stressed that disagreements within the party are normal in any large political organization and should not be mistaken for division.
The spokesperson also called on party members and the public to disregard rumors of factionalism. He reiterated that the PDP is committed to internal cohesion and working together to achieve its political goals.
Party leaders have assured that mechanisms are in place to address concerns of members peacefully. Ememobong noted that the party will continue to engage with all members to maintain harmony and strengthen its political influence nationwide.
