UCL: Guardiola names team that is ‘far away’ from winning trophy

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has identified a team he believes is still “far away” from winning the UEFA Champions League trophy. According to Guardiola, despite the team’s strong performance in their domestic league, some clubs are not yet at the level required to lift Europe’s most prestigious club prize.

Guardiola explained that winning the Champions League requires not only skill and talent but also consistency, experience, and the ability to handle high-pressure matches. He suggested that some teams still need time to build the squad depth and mental strength necessary for success.

The City boss also stressed that no team should be underestimated, but realistic assessment is important. He praised clubs working hard to improve but maintained that several teams are still developing and learning how to compete at the highest European level.

Finally, Guardiola reiterated his commitment to guiding Manchester City to European glory while respecting all opponents. He encouraged fans to remain patient as the Champions League remains a challenging competition for even the best teams in the world.
