Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has expressed frustration over a behaviour he says is becoming too common among current Arsenal players. According to him, he dislikes seeing the players fall too easily to the ground during games, especially in moments when they should be staying strong and fighting for the ball. Henry explained that this habit takes away from the competitive spirit the club is known for.
He noted that during a recent match, “everyone fell on the ground,” which he found disappointing. Henry stressed that football is a physical sport, and players must learn how to handle pressure instead of going down at the slightest contact. He believes this weakens the team’s overall performance and gives opponents an advantage.
The former striker also said that Arsenal needs more resilience if they want to challenge seriously for the Premier League title. He added that staying on their feet, maintaining balance, and showing strength in duels will help the team become more dangerous. Henry urged the squad to adopt a stronger mentality on the pitch.
Henry ended by reminding the players that Arsenal’s success in the past came from determination and toughness. He said he wants to see the current team show the same fighting spirit, especially in tight matches where every small action can change the outcome.
