The Chairman of a Local Government Area in Delta State has warned against the indiscriminate transfer of teachers between schools. He stated that such practices disrupt the learning process and affect students’ academic performance.

He emphasized that teachers play a critical role in shaping the future of children, and constant transfers can negatively impact school stability and the quality of education. According to him, transfers should be based on clear policies and genuine needs.

The Chairman urged the education authorities to implement a structured and transparent system for teacher transfers. He added that proper planning and communication with school communities would ensure minimal disruption to students’ learning.
