Tolulope Moore: How Abiodun confronted physical and AI-driven security threats in Ogun

Public affairs analyst Tolulope Moore has highlighted how Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has been handling both physical and technology-based security threats across the state. Moore explained that while criminal attacks remain a concern, new challenges created by artificial intelligence tools have also emerged. He stressed that these AI-driven threats include misinformation, identity impersonation, and digital manipulation capable of causing panic among residents.

According to Moore, the Abiodun administration responded to physical security issues by strengthening security operations, increasing patrols, and supporting law enforcement with better logistics and equipment. He added that the state government has partnered with federal agencies and local communities to ensure faster response to criminal activities and improve intelligence gathering.

On the digital front, Moore noted that the governor introduced modern monitoring systems and collaborated with tech experts to track and counter AI-generated fake news. He emphasized that these measures helped prevent false information from spreading and destabilizing the state, especially during sensitive political and social periods.

Moore concluded that Ogun State’s approach shows that modern governance requires fighting threats on two fronts — the streets and the digital space. He said Abiodun’s combined physical and AI-security strategy has helped maintain stability and protect residents from both real-world and online dangers.
