No religious discrimination in Abia – Gov Otti

Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu Otti, has assured residents that there is no religious discrimination in the state. He emphasized that the government treats all faiths equally and is committed to ensuring harmony among communities.

Governor Otti made the statement during a recent community engagement, highlighting that policies and governance in Abia focus on fairness and inclusiveness. He encouraged citizens to embrace unity and mutual respect, regardless of religious beliefs.

He also noted that government initiatives, including education, healthcare, and infrastructure projects, are available to all residents without bias. This approach, he said, strengthens social cohesion and fosters peaceful coexistence in the state.

Otti concluded by urging religious leaders and community members to continue promoting tolerance. He stressed that Abia’s progress depends on cooperation among people of all faiths, ensuring a stable and harmonious environment for everyone.
