Former lawmaker, Bagos, has declared that there is little hope for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) amid ongoing internal crises. He commended Nyesom Wike’s leadership, saying the former governor remains a key figure for reform within the party.
Bagos argued that persistent conflicts and factionalism in PDP have weakened its influence and public confidence. According to him, the party needs strong, decisive leadership to regain relevance, something he believes Wike embodies.
The ex-lawmaker highlighted that unless the party addresses internal divisions, it risks further decline and electoral setbacks in future elections. He urged stakeholders to support leaders who can unify and revitalize PDP.
Political analysts note that Wike’s growing influence within PDP factions could reshape the party’s strategies, but the party must resolve disputes quickly to remain competitive on the national stage.
