Security operatives in Kwara State have recorded another breakthrough in the fight against banditry after successfully neutralising a suspected bandit during a joint operation. According to local reports, the police teamed up with community vigilante groups to respond to distress calls about criminal activities in the area. Their quick intervention prevented further harm and restored calm to the affected community.

Sources said the suspect was tracked after residents reported suspicious movements linked to recent attacks. The combined team reportedly engaged the bandit during a confrontation, leading to his death. No security personnel or civilians were injured in the encounter, which authorities described as a well-coordinated operation.
