Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, and former Senator, Shehu Sani, have exchanged words over the performance of President Bola Tinubu’s administration. Their disagreement has sparked public debate as both political figures shared opposing views.
Amaechi questioned the direction of the current government, saying that many Nigerians are still waiting to see real progress in governance, economy, and security. He argued that leadership should focus more on reducing hardship and giving citizens clear hope for the future.
However, Shehu Sani disagreed, saying it is too early to judge President Tinubu’s administration harshly. According to him, the government inherited major national challenges and needs time to implement policies and achieve visible results. He added that criticisms should be constructive, not political attacks.
The exchange between the two leaders has continued to trend as Nigerians share divided views — with some supporting Amaechi’s concerns about economic hardship, while others believe Tinubu deserves more time to deliver promises.
