Southern traditional rulers adopt Uzodinma as council coordinator

Traditional rulers from Southern Nigeria have chosen Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, as the new coordinator of their regional traditional rulers’ council. The decision was made during a meeting where royal fathers from different states in the South gathered to discuss unity, peace, and the development of the region. Uzodinma’s selection reflects their confidence in his leadership and ability to represent their interests.

During the meeting, the leaders highlighted the need for stronger collaboration among southern states to address security, economic challenges, and youth empowerment. They explained that traditional institutions play a key role in maintaining peace and cultural identity within communities, making strong leadership important for progress.

Governor Uzodinma thanked the royal fathers for trusting him with the role and promised to work closely with them. He said their unity would support development efforts, peace, and stability across the Southern region. He also stressed the importance of traditional rulers in guiding communities and promoting cultural values.
