Tinubu Has Ordered AGF To Withdraw Court Cases Against Me — Natasha

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan from Kogi Central has said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu instructed the Attorney-General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, to withdraw all Federal Government cases filed against her.

Natasha revealed this during a Facebook Live broadcast on Tuesday morning after she was reportedly stopped from travelling at the airport. According to her, the move to seize her passport was linked to an order allegedly given by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

She stated that President Tinubu had already intervened, admitting the cases against her were politically motivated. Natasha expressed frustration, saying there was no legal basis for immigration officers to hold her passport.

The Senator also accused Akpabio of giving directives to stop her from leaving the country, claiming it was not the first time her travel had been restricted. She showed immigration officers in the video, saying her passport had been held for over 20 minutes.

The allegations come months after the Federal Government filed fresh charges against her, following earlier cases accusing her of making statements said to damage the reputation of Senate President Akpabio and former Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello.
