PDP crisis: ‘Sheathe your swords’ – BoT Chair Wabara begs warring members

Former Senate President and Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees, Adolphus Wabara, has called on aggrieved members of the party to end hostilities and work together for unity.

Speaking amid the ongoing crisis shaking the PDP, Wabara appealed to party stakeholders to put aside personal battles and focus on rebuilding the party. He reminded them that internal division only weakens their chances in upcoming political contests and damages the party’s strength nationwide.

Wabara stressed that the PDP can only succeed if members cooperate, respect party structures, and pursue peaceful resolutions instead of open conflict. He encouraged all factions to remain committed to dialogue and reconciliation, saying peace is necessary for the party to recover and move forward.

He urged leaders across all levels to show maturity and put the party’s interest above personal ambitions, noting that unity is the only way the PDP can reclaim its position in national politics.
