President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has nominated Kingsley Ude from Enugu State to replace the former Minister, Uche Nnaji. This new nomination has been submitted to the Senate for screening and approval.
Nnaji previously served as the Minister for Innovation, Science, and Technology but stepped down from the position. With Ude’s nomination, the President aims to fill the vacant ministerial slot for Enugu State.
The nomination shows the administration’s plan to maintain full representation from all states in the Federal Executive Council. Ude is expected to bring fresh ideas and energy into the cabinet once confirmed by the Senate.
Political observers say this move may boost the government’s efforts in strengthening national governance and ensuring balanced regional representation.
Nigerians now await the Senate screening process to see if Kingsley Ude will officially join the federal cabinet team.
