A Nigerian lawyer has cautioned that breaking diplomatic ties with the United States would have serious consequences for the country. The lawyer explained that despite disagreements or tensions, Nigeria relies on the US for important partnerships in areas like security, economy, technology, and international relations.

He noted that the US is one of Nigeria’s biggest global allies, offering foreign aid, military support, and investment opportunities that help strengthen the nation.
