Gabon’s national team coach, Thierry Mouyouma, is expected to announce his squad list for the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs this Thursday. Reports from the Gabonese Press Agency (AGP) indicate that the list will feature 25 players as the Panthers prepare for a crucial showdown.

The Panthers will face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the semi-final stage at the El Barid Stadium in Rabat on November 13. The winner of the tie will go on to meet Cameroon or DR Congo in the final round of the playoffs.

Top stars such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Mario Lemina, and Denis Bouanga are expected to make the roster, alongside other key squad members who have been regular features for Gabon.

The Gabon team will begin their training camp in Rabat on Sunday as they gear up for the tough fixture and aim to book a place in the next round.
