Former Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood believes Arsenal are currently in the strongest position to win the Premier League title this season. Speaking on Premier League Productions ahead of Arsenal’s game against Burnley, Sherwood praised Mikel Arteta’s side, saying they have shown the quality and consistency needed to lift the trophy.

Sherwood noted that Arsenal could extend their lead at the top of the table by seven points if they secure a victory against Burnley on Saturday. According to him, the Gunners are meeting every requirement of a title–winning team. He added that although the race is still open, Arsenal appear to be in full control of their destiny.

He stressed that Manchester City and Liverpool remain major threats, describing Liverpool as a “juggernaut” and warning that Pep Guardiola’s side can never be ruled out. However, Sherwood maintained that the league title is currently Arsenal’s to lose.

Sherwood’s comments reflect growing belief among football analysts and fans that Arsenal have matured into serious contenders after coming close last season. With strong performances, discipline, and depth, many believe the Gunners could finally end their long wait for a Premier League trophy.
