The Nigeria National League (NNL) has given official approval for Abakaliki FC to use the Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium as their home ground for the 2025/2026 season. The stadium, located in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, passed the league’s facility standards after a recent inspection.
During the inspection, the NNL representative, Mr. Foster Chima, expressed strong confidence in the stadium’s readiness. He noted that the facilities at Pa Ngele Oruta Stadium rank among the best in Nigeria and meet the requirements needed for league games.
Chima stated that the major facilities required for top-level football are already in place, including seating areas, pitch quality, and supporting infrastructure. He confirmed that the venue is fully suitable to host home matches for Abakaliki FC throughout the upcoming league campaign.
The approval is part of broader efforts by the NNL to ensure teams meet proper standards before the season begins. The league has been carrying out stadium inspections nationwide to guarantee a smooth and professional competition across all match venues.
