A former commissioner in Abia State has called for the immediate resignation of a state lawmaker accused of assaulting a fellow colleague, which allegedly resulted in a broken head. The incident, which reportedly occurred during a heated disagreement at the Abia State House of Assembly, has sparked widespread outrage among political observers and citizens.

According to reports, the altercation broke out during a session where lawmakers were debating an internal party issue. Eyewitnesses alleged that the confrontation turned physical, leaving one member injured.
