Tragedy struck as Pastor James Audu Issa of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) was killed by bandits after his family had paid a ransom of ₦5 million for his release. The incident has left the community in deep mourning, with church members describing his death as a painful loss.

Reports revealed that Pastor Issa was abducted and negotiations for his release dragged on, leading to the huge ransom payment. Shockingly, despite receiving the money, the bandits still executed him, raising concerns about the growing brutality of kidnappers across Nigeria.
