A quiet farming community in Kwara State has been thrown into mourning after bandits attacked and killed a local farmer, leaving his brother critically injured. The attack, which happened in the early hours of the day, has sparked fear among residents who now live in constant worry over rising insecurity in the region.

Eyewitnesses said the bandits stormed the village while the farmer and his brother were working on their farmland. Sadly, the farmer lost his life on the spot, while his brother sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
