Losing my wife as governor biggest regret – Umo Eno

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom has revealed that his deepest regret since assuming office is the loss of his wife. Speaking during a public event, the governor said that despite the achievements and responsibilities of governance, nothing could fill the emotional void created by her absence.

Eno explained that while he has received support from family, friends, and the people of Akwa Ibom, the personal pain of losing his wife remains his most difficult experience. He noted that leadership often comes with sacrifices, but losing a life partner is a burden that no amount of success in office can ease.

The governor encouraged citizens to value their loved ones and cherish moments with family, stressing that life and relationships are more important than power, titles, or positions. He added that his wife’s memory continues to inspire him in serving the people of Akwa Ibom with compassion and dedication.
