As former Imo State Governor, Senator Rochas Okorocha, marks his 63rd birthday, many beneficiaries of the Rochas Foundation have shared moving stories of how the initiative transformed their lives.
The Rochas Foundation, established by Okorocha, has provided thousands of less privileged children across Nigeria with access to free education, healthcare, and life opportunities. For many, the foundation has been the turning point that changed their family history and gave them hope for a brighter future.
Several beneficiaries testified that without the support of the foundation, they would never have been able to go to school, let alone graduate. Some have gone on to become professionals in medicine, law, engineering, and other fields — living proofs of Okorocha’s vision to use education as a tool to fight poverty.
Marking his 63rd birthday, Okorocha expressed gratitude to God and reaffirmed his commitment to continue empowering young Nigerians through education and philanthropy. The celebration has not only highlighted his political journey but also showcased his enduring legacy in humanitarian service.
