The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for lifting the emergency rule in Rivers State, calling it a move that restores democratic governance.

According to Wike, President Tinubu has once again shown his strong commitment to peace and democracy in Nigeria. The minister said this prompt action has helped save the state from prolonged uncertainty.

The minister also expressed appreciation to the citizens of Rivers State for their continued trust in the president and their support for his efforts to guide the country toward growth and progress.
