Reno Omokri has taken a swipe at Peter Obi after being caught in a train accident situation in Canada.

The former presidential aide explained that he was on his way to his destination when the train he boarded suddenly came to a stop. According to him, passengers were informed that another train had hit a car, which forced all train movement to be suspended for a while.

Sharing a video on Instagram, Reno narrated the experience and said such incidents happen everywhere, even in developed countries like Canada. He pointed out that accidents are not limited to Nigeria.

However, Reno used the opportunity to throw a jab at Peter Obi. He claimed that if the same thing had happened in Nigeria, Obi would have quickly turned it into a political issue. According to him, Obi would have blamed President Bola Tinubu for the accident and used the story to paint Nigeria in a negative light.

Reno stressed that Nigerians should understand that accidents and unexpected events happen in every country, and it should not always be seen as a failure of government leadership.
