Social commentator, Scott Iguma, has criticized local government chairmen in Lagos State and some state commissioners, accusing them of neglecting their responsibilities to the people.

In a video he posted on Instagram, Iguma said that most Lagos LGA chairmen only post birthday wishes and congratulatory notes online, instead of showing pictures of projects they are handling in their communities.

He also faulted Lagos State commissioners, saying they focus on posting updates of meetings on social media, but fail to share details of any real projects that could directly improve the lives of Lagos residents.

To back up his claim, Iguma shared a screen recording of the Instagram pages of the Eti-Osa Local Government Chairman and the Lagos State Commissioner for Health. He pointed out that the commissioner only posts videos and photos of the meetings and conferences he attends, but has not shared any update on plans to renovate hospitals or improve health centers across the state.
