2027: We’ll end godfatherism, money politics – ADC

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has once again promised that it will fight against godfatherism, money politics, and shady political practices in Nigeria.

Speaking on Sunday at a Conscience Forum meeting, the party’s National Secretary, Rauf Aregbesola, welcomed new members into the ADC. He explained that the party’s mission is to change the way politics is run in the country.

Aregbesola, who is a former Minister of Interior, said the ADC has a divine purpose to free the people from political manipulation and unfair systems.

He stressed that ADC is different from other political parties. According to him, whenever members are asked about the party’s ideology, they should boldly say that ADC stands for a people-friendly government.

He explained that the party’s main focus is putting people first, which clearly separates it from other political groups.

The former governor of Osun State also said the ADC is built to serve ordinary Nigerians, including workers, artisans, and the wider population.

He concluded with a strong message, saying it is time to say goodbye to disorder and bad politics in the country.
