Chelsea have officially announced their 2025/26 Premier League squad, and it surprisingly includes Raheem Sterling and Axel Disasi, even though both players were earlier dropped from the main team.
Both stars made it into the squad despite being part of manager Enzo Maresca’s group of sidelined players, also called the “bomb-squad.”
As required, all 20 Premier League clubs submitted their final 25-man squads on Friday for the new season.
Sterling and Disasi were left out of Chelsea’s Champions League squad, leading many fans to think the Premier League list would be the same.
Instead, Chelsea only submitted 19 players for the Premier League, and Sterling, Disasi, and David Datro Fofana were all included in the lineup.
Here is Chelsea’s 2025/26 Premier League squad:
Goalkeepers: Filip Jorgensen, Robert Sanchez
Defenders: Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile, Trevoh Chalobah, Levi Colwill, Marc Cucurella, Axel Disasi, Wesley Fofana, Malo Gusto, Reece James
Midfielders: Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez, Cole Palmer
Forwards: Liam Delap, David Datro Fofana, Joao Pedro*, Pedro Neto, Raheem Sterling
The club also highlighted homegrown players and under-21 talents.

Chelsea are set to face Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday.
