A female accountant from the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria, named Kasham Thomas, was found dead inside her car in Gwarimpa, Abuja. Her body had multiple stab wounds.

She was discovered along 35 Road on Monday, September 8, 2025, with two stab injuries to her chest and stomach. A witness said police were called, and after notifying her family, her body was taken to Kubwa General Hospital.

A relative revealed that Ms. Thomas had gone to the Karshi area earlier that day to pick up her two children before school resumed.

“She left Karshi around 7 pm and went to her home in Lugbe to drop off the children,” the relative said. “After that, she left again, promising to return soon.”

Authorities found a knife, believed to be the murder weapon, and an Apple Watch inside the car with her body.

A police source at the Gwarimpa division confirmed the incident is being investigated.
