French police stopped an attempted kidnapping of Nigerian businesswoman and fashion entrepreneur, Kika Osunde, in Montparnasse, a district in southern Paris. Three suspects were arrested in connection with the incident.
The information was revealed by American journalist Louis Pisano, who lives in Paris. He shared the news on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, September 5, 2025, explaining that the suspects had planned to disguise themselves as delivery workers to kidnap Osunde.
Pisano wrote that on September 4, Paris police officers from the Search and Intervention Brigade arrested the three men who allegedly intended to carry out the abduction in broad daylight.
Investigators believe the suspects monitored Osunde’s movements through her social media activities. Police say her visible luxury lifestyle may have attracted the criminals. The Paris prosecutor’s office has now launched a formal investigation into the case.
